easyJet has announced a new route from Gatwick to Thessaloniki.

The Gatwick flights will operate three times per week and will commence on 30 January 2008.

David Osborne, easyJet UK General Manager, commented: “Thessaloniki is the second Greek destination easyJet will offer from the UK and we expect to carry over 41,000 passengers on the route this summer. The addition of this new service takes the total number of routes available from our largest base at Gatwick to 44, reinforcing our position as Gatwick favourite European airline.
