Manx2.com reached a booking milestone last week. The airline, which operates flights from the Isle of Man to Leeds Bradford airport, Belfast City & Belfast International airport, Gloucester (M5), Nottingham East Midlands airport, Jersey and Blackpool airport, sold a record 96% of its flights online. Communications director, James Filleul, commented: “Many airlines, particularly the big low cost operators like EasyJet, book the majority of their passengers online, but even they are not yet claiming to be at this level. “When we launched we put a lot of thought into the design of our website, and included features like a low fare finder so that customers could always find and buy our lowest fares. Customer have responded to that, and our percentage of online bookers has steadily increased to this all time high of 96%”. Post a comment
