Less than four years after starting operations, Wizz Air has announced it has carried its 10 millionth passenger. The airline which recently opened its seventh base in Poznan, operates flights from the following UK airports: Gatwick, Stansted, London Luton, Durham Tees Valley airport, Robin Hood airport and Glasgow Prestwick airport. The airline has announced it will expand its flight network by adding a further 20 new routes shortly, and predicts it will carry its next 10 million passengers by July 2009 – in less than 18 months.
