Following the success of Robin Hood Airport to Poland flights, Wizz Air has announced a fifth Polish destination.

From 1 April 2008, Wizz Air will offer Robin Hood flights to Warsaw.

Today’s announcement by Wizz Air will see 17 flights per week to Poland this summer, making Wizz Air the third biggest scheduled airline, in terms of passenger numbers, operating from Robin Hood Airport.

Hugh Lang, Group Managing Director for Peel Airports said today: “We are delighted with the performance of Wizz Air at Robin Hood Airport, with Katowice and Gdansk firmly established as popular high frequency Polish destinations. Poznan and Wroclaw are proving just as popular. Wizz Air’s decision to increase frequency on the new routes to the vibrant regions of Poland is excellent news for the consumer”.
