Blackpool Airport has announced that following on from the launch of new routes to Ibiza and Geneva with Jet2.com, they have now added Mahon, Menorca, to the growing list of destinations that Blackpool Airport offers residents across Lancashire and The Lakes.

Blackpool flights to the beautiful Balearic island of Menorca are on sale now for summer 2009.

Susan Kendrick, Communications Manager at the airport, commented: “This is yet more great news for Blackpool Airport and our passengers. We are delighted that Jet2.com is continuing to increase its destinations on offer from Blackpool Airport and it demonstrates the confidence Jet2.com have in Blackpool as they introduce new routes as part of their growing network.”

Fares from Blackpool to Menorca start from £55.99 one way including taxes. Flights with Jet2.com commence 19th June 2009.
