Wizz Air has announced it is to start new flights from Poznan to Rome Fiumicino Airport and to Cork from 16 December and 19 December respectively.

The new flights will be operated twice weekly and will complement the airline’s already existing routes from Poznan to Stockholm Vasteras, Glasgow Prestwick airport, Doncaster Sheffield airport, Dortmund, London Luton and Milan Bergamo.

The airline has made a series of adjustments to its schedule recently to better serve the changing customer demand. The labour traffic between Poland and the UK airports has shown a significant down turn, while the demand for other routes – mainly to leisure destinations – has increased.
