Passengers travelling to Southampton Airport should be aware that the M27 will be closed overnight in both directions for from 22:00 to 05:30 tonight, Tuesday 30 September and Wednesday 1 October and also on Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 October to enable the installation of four gantries over the motorway and other road works.

This work is part of a £36m improvement scheme aimed at reducing delays between junctions 3 and 4 on the M27.

Rownhams Services will be also closed during these times.
