East Midlands Airport is celebrating after revealing record passenger numbers passing through the airport.

Figures just released show that a total of 1.7 million passengers used the airport during the third quarter of this year - an increase of 1.7% in July, a rise of 5.1% in August and a 1.3% increase in September. Overall, East Midlands Airport has seen a growth in passenger numbers for past 30 consecutive months.
