Lufthansa has launched mobile boarding passes at London City Airport.

When checking-in online, passengers will be able to select to have their boarding pass sent to them via email, or SMS to an internet-enabled mobile phone. The SMS bar code is then scanned at security  and the boarding gate enabling passengers to board their plane.
