Leeds Airport has just unveiled proposals to develop its passenger terminal.

At a projected cost of £28m, the plans include a two storey extension to the landside face of the existing terminal and changes to the internal layout of the current building. An expanded passenger security screening zone, improvements to the domestic baggage reclaim area and remodelled airside immigration facilities also feature in the proposals.

The new owners, Bridgepoint, plan to spend £70m over the next five years on developing the airport.
