Wizz Air has announced it is to operate a service between Aberdeen Airport and Warsaw.
The new service will take off on 13th May next year.
The service, which is the only Warsaw flight offering from the Scottish airport, will operate twice a week.
The Warsaw service will mean that Wizz Air passengers gain access to the airline’s network of 122 routes in 20 different countries from its Polish hub.
Speaking about the new service, Aberdeen Airport’s Managing Director, Carol Benzie, said “Wizz Air is an ambitious and rapidly growing airline and the addition of Warsaw is fantastic news for the airport and the city. We are continually working to expand our route network and not only will Wizz Air’s new route strengthen our connectivity with Europe’s major cities, it has huge potential to generate significant in-bound tourism for Aberdeen.”
