BA confirms merger talks with Qantas

British Airways has confirmed it is in merger talks with Qantas.

In a statement on its website, BA said it is exploring a possible merger via a dual-listed company structure and states it is continuing its discussions with Iberia.

All this is in addition to its proposed tie up with American Airlines.
