Luton based Jet Exchange will now be able to operate non-scheduled flights between the UK and Canada after the charter and management firm gained its Foreign Air Operator Certificate (FAOC) from the Canadian Transportation Agency.
This coveted certificate will allow brokers to book trans-Atlantic flights with Jet Exchange, on its Challenger 604 aircraft, flying between the UK and the Canadian cities of Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa.
This Canadian FAOC will compliment Jet Exchanges similar certificates from the US Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Authority to run commercial flights in America.
Speaking about the FAOC accreditation, Ian Austin, Managing Director, Jet Exchange, said, “Canada is a highly popular destination for business and leisure travellers alike, and our Challenger 604 provides a cost-effective option for discerning clients who want to arrive in the Great White North in style. Our crews are already very familiar with North America thanks to our US approvals, and this latest certification from the CTA means brokers can make the most of our expertise.”
