Monarch is celebrating after a record breaking month. The low fares airline carried almost 460,000 passengers on scheduled flights in July – the highest number of passengers the airline has ever carried on scheduled flights in one month and up 5.09% on July 2007. Contributing to the increased passenger numbers are the recent launch of Gatwick flights to Larnaca and Menorca and the introduction of the new service from Manchester airport to Larnaca.
