Thomson Airways was named the ‘World’s Best Leisure Airline’ last week, at the prestigious Farnborough International Air Show.
It’s the sixth time the airline, for leading holiday brands, Thomson and First Choice, has been crowned with the coveted title.
It’s the sixth time out of seven that Thomson Airways has won the award. The airline, which carries over five and a half million passengers each year, has its sights firmly on retaining the title; and with its commitment to investment, expansion and modernisation, this should be more than achievable.
When collecting the award, Thomson Airways Managing Director John Murphy, said, “We are incredibly proud to receive the World’s Best Leisure Airline award again. We’re committed to providing our customers with amazing holiday experiences and so are constantly looking for ways to modernise the fleet and enhance the on board experience. We have recently celebrated the arrival of the larger 787-9 Dreamliner into the fleet as part of our five year vision, which will enable us to fly even more customers to their dream destinations.”
