A review over the way alcoholic beverages are sold at airports is under way, new Aviation Minister, Lord Ahmad, has announced.
Alcohol fuelled incidents are on the increase across the UK, incidents that are not only dangerous but also frightening to fellow passengers.
With rages and violence happening both at the airport and on aircraft – between March 2014 and March 2016 442 cases were upheld by Police – many believe change is necessary.
Lord Ahman has pledged to review and implement a strategy that deals with unruly travellers
Speaking about the reviews, Lord Ahmad said: “I don’t think we want to kill merriment altogether, but it’s important that passengers who board planes are also responsible.”
