Flybe has announced it is to launch a new service out of Dundee Airport later this Spring.
The low cost airline is the first airline to offer this link, a vital route for international travel, which will fly between Dundee and Amsterdam all year round.
Commencing on 23rd May, the direct service to Schiphol, will open up a world of travel to Scottish travellers as the Dutch hub airport has connecting flights across the globe.
Speaking about the exciting announcement, Robert Goodwill, UK Aviation Minister, said, “It is fantastic to see Flybe launch this new service between Dundee and Amsterdam, giving the Scottish city its first international route. Our smaller airports are vital engines for local economies, connecting the UK and overseas destinations and opening up opportunities. That is why the UK Government is backing new regional air routes with £7m of funding to drive investment and boost growth across the country.”
