Low cost carrier, Ryanair, is gearing itself up for a busy 12 months at Belfast Airport as it launches new flights over the next 8 weeks.
The airline expects to carrier over 1 million passengers on its 11 routes out of the Northern Ireland airport.
The biggest expectation is the hotly anticipated new service between Belfast and Berlin later this week. Demand has been extremely strong from passengers in the German capital with thousands of business and leisure passengers like expected.
As well as Berlin, the airline will also be offering flights to Malaga; Alicante; Milan; Krakow; Wroclaw; Lanzarote; Tenerife; Warsaw and Gdansk; currently forecast for operations until the autumn of 2017.
