Qatar Airways is the latest airline to join Birmingham Airport, and as a result will be offering flights between Birmingham and Doha.
From next March, the service will operate eight times a week, flying into Haman International Airport.
The popular route is expected to be used by 100,000 passengers in its first year alone.
Doha, the capital city of Qatar, will appeal to business and pleasure travellers alike, with its ranking as the world’s strongest economy.
The airport goes from strength to strength, as ten new airlines have started flying out of Birmingham Airport this year. Something that Chief Executive, Paul Kehoe is extremely proud of, saying, ““Not only will our passengers have the choice of flying with the award winning carrier to Doha’s state-of-the-art hub Hamad International Airport, they will have a choice of 152 destinations served by the airline, including South East Asia, China and Australasia.”
