Ryanair is to stop all its services to Fuerteventura from 31 January.

The airline has been operating flights to Fuerteventura since 2006 and has seen passengers numbers rise from 2,000 to 250,000 in that time, however, due to a disagreement with the local tourism group, the airline has decided to cease all operations.

The UK services affected by the decision are:

Birmingham airport – 3 per week
Dublin – 2 per week
East Midlands airport – 3 per week
Liverpool airport – 3 per week
London  Stansted – 3 per week
Shannon – 1 per week.
