Upping its capacity at Bournemouth by 19%, Ryanair has announced it is to set up a new winter base at the Dorset airport.
One of the low-cost airline’s planes will be based at Bournemouth this winter, along with adding a new service to Krakow twice a week, plus new services to Faro, Gran Canaria and Malta.
Speaking about the new services, Paul Knight, Bournemouth’s Managing Director, said, “We have built up a good working relationship with Ryanair over the past 20 years and we are delighted to see that they are marking this anniversary by extending their winter programme and adding a new route to Krakow.”
These new services will mean that passengers have a superb winter sun choice, including flights to Alicante, Malaga and Tenerife.
Mr Knight added, “This means there will soon be even more destinations people can travel to from our airport and more people from across Europe will be visiting our great area.”
