easyJet is to launch several new flights out of Bristol Airport this summer.
The airline, which sees its biggest base outside of London at Bristol, now offers travellers the choice of 53 destinations out of the regional airport.
This weekend, the airline started flying to Lanzarote. Then, later this month flights to Porto, Gibraltar, Bilbao and the Isle of Man will commence.
The new routes are expected to see huge demand from passengers, as the airline expects 185,000 passengers using the new routes in the first year alone.
Speaking about the new services, easyJet’s UK Commercial Manager, Ali Gayward, said, “We’re delighted to have five of our exciting new routes departing for the first time this weekend. Whether customers are looking for a beach break, cultural getaway or active adventure, we have a new route to suit all.”
And it doesn’t stop there, next month the airline will be launching Bristol to Zante flights, as well as Bristol to Catania.
