easyJet has now started flying out of Bristol Airport to both Venice and Nantes.
With an expected demand of 70,000 passengers each year, the new flights will be a huge boost to the popular regional airport.
From just £32.24 each way, per person, based on two people travelling, passengers can jet off from Bristol to Venice – arguably the most romantic city in the world – with a choice of four weekly flights to choose from.
Or choose the popular city break French destination of Nantes, with prices starting from just £22.24 each way, per person, based on two people travelling – a service which operates twice a week.
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Commercial Manager, commented: “We’re thrilled to have welcomed our first passengers onboard our Bristol to Venice and Nantes flights. “Since we announced we’d be starting the routes in October and November last year, they’ve proved extremely popular with bookings from both inbound and outbound tourists. “Being one of the most romantic and magical places in the world, Venice often tops peoples list of places to visit at least once in their life. Meanwhile, Nantes attracts flocks of holidaymakers every year thanks to its numerous art galleries, museums, fine dining and beautiful architecture.”
Whilst the airport’s Aviation Director, Shaun Browne, added, “We are delighted with these new services to Venice and Nantes with easyJet. The Italian and French markets are vitally important for us and we see continued growth both from a business and inbound visitor perspective.”
