For the 12th month running, passenger numbers at Cardiff Airport have increased.
This May the airport saw a rise of 27% compared to the same month last year.
As a result, the last 12 months have seen over 1,279 passenger pass through its doors.
The rise in passengers has been attributed to the airport’s constant improvements, enhancement of the customer experience, development of its departure lounge and duty free offering and new routes. Plus the airport has seen many airlines increasing availability and improved timings on popular routes.
Commuters will also be relieved to know that Flybe will be flying from Cardiff to London City from September 12th as the Severn Tunnel closes for maintenance and repairs.
