In a drive to find the most cost effective check-in, Flybe has just installed three self-service check-in kiosks at Cardiff Airport. The low cost airline is the first airline to invest in new technologies at the airport. Currently, more than 40% of Flybe’s customers throughout the UK use electronic check-in. Simon Lilley, director of marketing, Flybe comments: “We are committed to getting the millions of passengers we carry each year through the check in process as quickly and efficiently as possible. These machines minimise queuing and really do speed things up, allowing our passengers to better enjoy their travel experience with Flybe. “We will now be focusing on driving usage even higher, plus working on implementation of the next step which will see passengers checking-in by mobile phone.” For more information on airlines using online check-in at Cardiff Airport click on the link.
