There has been a delay in the decision over night flights at Kent International Airport.

The airport’s operator, Infratil, has been asked to review the airport’s night flight application following its report on the airport’s noise assessments.

Following receipt of Infratil’s draft report, Thanet Council has rejected the plans, saying the report lacked sufficient information on the full extent of aircraft movement during the night time operations.

The public consultation has been delayed until Infratil reviews its plans.
