The Peel Airports Group has confirmed they are in discussion with potential investors to become partners in the Group as it continues to invest in its Airports business.

The group, which owns and operates three UK regional airports: Liverpool John Lennon, Doncaster Sheffield and Durham Tees Valley, has also announced a substantial terminal investment programme at Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The new facilities are due to be completed in Autumn 2010 and will take the total investment from Peel into John Lennon Airport to over £150 million in 10 years.

The new developments will see the creation of approximately 1,500 sq.m of additional retail space, several new shop units, and a new passenger security search area with the latest generation passenger screening equipment.
