East Midlands Airport passengers planning to drive to the airport next weekend – 17 & 18 January 2009, should be aware that the M1 will be closed in both directions from 9pm on Saturday 17 January to 9am on Sunday 18 January, between Junctions 26 and 25 to allow for bridge demolition.

Passengers should allow plenty of extra time to complete their journey.
