Manx2.com is set to expand its fleet of aircraft based in the Isle of Man. Contracts have just been signed to add another nineteen-seat Dornier 228 – the company’s third – taking the airline’s fleet up to seven aircraft in total. “The success of our routes to date has demonstrated the need for frequent, fairly priced services to regional airportsâ€, says communications director James Filleul. “This new aircraft will enable us to offer even more flights next year, as well as giving us greater capacity to expand our network and for ad hoc charter workâ€. Manx2.com operators use nineteen seat aircraft on routes between the Isle of Man, Leeds Bradford airport, Belfast City and Belfast International airport, Gloucester (M5), Nottingham East Midlands airport, Jersey and Blackpool airport. |
