Edinburgh Airport, in advance of the summer holidays, has installed a new children’s play area.
The new soft play area is aptly flight themed and is a perfect place for children to let off some energy before their flight, and where parents and guardians can relax with a coffee looking on.
Talking about the play area, the airport’s Chief Commercial Officer, John Watson, said, “We want passengers of all ages to have the best time at Edinburgh Airport. Our free soft play area allows children to run around and unwind in a safe environment before boarding their flight while their parents can relax and supervise.”
This play area, sponsored by Thomson, is the third to be fitted at the airport since January, as it strives to be Scotland’s most child friendly airport.
Mr Watson added, “The investment in our play areas shows that we’re working hard to make sure our smallest passengers and their families have the best start to their trip.”
