Ryanair increases Scottish flights

Ryanair has announced it is to increase the number of destinations offered from Scotland next summer.

The airline will add six new routes from Edinburgh Airport – bringing the total number of routes on offer for summer 2013 to 38 – and two new services to Glasgow Prestwick – a total of 27 summer destinations.

Ryanair’s six new destinations from Edinburgh are:

  • Bologna
  • Beziers
  • Cagliari
  • Corfu
  • Katowice
  • Santander

The airline will also increase frequencies on five other routes:

  • Alicante
  • Faro
  • Malaga
  • Malta
  • Palma

Ryanair’s two new services from Glasgow Prestwick are:

  • Rzeszow
  • Warsaw Modlin

Frequencies of four other routes will also be increased:

  • Ibiza
  • Palma
  • Wroclaw
  • Riga
