My mother is travelling on TCX 448K at 9.25 tomorrow. There is NO information available either from the flight operator Thomas Cook or Gatwick. Noone is answering the phone and there is nothing on either webbsite. An absolute disgrace.

@Pamela, There’s very little information coming from Thomas Cook. The best I can suggest is to try contacting them through twitter – http://twitter.com/ThomasCookUK Gatwick flight status checker is not working either. Good luck.

The last sentence say’s check before traveling but no number is given or clue as to who to call
Paula on December 20th, 2010 at 10:30 am #
@Owen, you need to contact your airline for the up-to-date status of your flight.

What is BAA/Gatwick Airport expecting for the 24 December for departures? Surely that should be enough time to manage the situation proactively? Please clarify.

@bhavin, I guess it’s really down to the weather – how much snow we get – and how well the airports can cope. The knock-on effect of the delays and cancellations will take some time to sort out. Let’s just hope everyone can get to where they’re meant to be in time for Christmas.

I’m trying to find out the status of BA43 from Heathrow to Cape Town, but I can’t find any info.
Paula on December 20th, 2010 at 1:11 pm #
@Jennifer, You could check Heathrow’s website here: http://www.heathrowairport.com/ just input the flight number in the departures tab. Alternatively, for more information go to: http://www.britishairways.com/travel/askbainter/public/en_gb?source=BOT_contactus Or check the status of your flight here: http://www.britishairways.com/travel/globalgateway.jsp/global/public/en_ You could also contact BA through twitter at: http://twitter.com/British_Airways I hope this helps.
