British Airways is to introduce new aircraft on its service between Jersey and Gatwick airport.

The Airbus A319 will replace the Boeing 737 currently in operation from the beginning of August.

The A319 can carry a maximum of 128 passengers in a two cabin layout and is more fuel efficient that the 737. The A319 will primarily operate on domestic services as British Airways starts to replace the existing Boeing 737 fleet at London Gatwick.
