Gatwick EPS Parking fined for false claims

Hot on the heels of the Watchdog programme highlighting problems with Gatwick’s Gold Parking, comes the news that another Gatwick parking company has been flouting the rules.

Gatwick valet parking company EPS Parking has been fined £10,000 for breaching the Unfair Trading Regulations Act 2008.

EPS Parking was found guilty of five offences at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on May 16, including falsely claiming to be a Gatwick Approved Operator, a member of the Buy with Confidence and having a ParkMark approved car park. The company was fined £2,000 per offence plus £2,683 costs.

Interesting that so many companies have been outed close to each other. Good for the consumer though.
