Gatwick Increase Flights Per Hour Through Airport Collaborative Portal

Gatwick installs cloud based technology to increase flight capacity.

Following the successful implantation of the Amadeus cloud based airport collaborative decision making portal, Gatwick Airport has increased its airport capacity.

The new technology sees the airport now operate 55 flights per hour, which will equate to an extra 2 million passengers on the world’s busiest single runway.

Gatwick is the first airport in the world to implement the Amadeus cloud-based A-CDM, which improves communication and operational efficiency, which has been rolled out to 300 users in just 8 weeks.
