As the Easter getaway starts Gatwick Airport has issued a reminder to passengers that the one bag rule still applies (except for passengers on connecting flights). Passengers are also being reminded of the liquids in hand luggage rule – small quantities, no larger than 100ml which must be placed in a separate, sealable, plastic bag no larger than 20 centimetres square.

More than 600,000 passengers are expected to travel through the airport over five-day, Easter weekend period (Thursday to Tuesday).
