XL.com is to launch flights between Gatwick and Knock.

The Gatwick flights see a reintroduction of a route previously operated by easyJet and Ryanair and suspended last year.

The new service will commence on 14 December 2007 and will operate six days per week using Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The flights will increase to seven days per week in May 2008.
