Gatwick Airport has put together a groundbreaking help and advice booklet for those travelling with small children and vulnerable passengers.
In association with the ADHD Foundation and Gatwick Travelcare, the pdf booklet can be looked at online and printed off for an invaluable guide for getting round the airport.
It covers everything from getting to Gatwick, your arrival into the airport and check-in, passing through security, time spent in the Departure Lounge, how to entertain little ones whilst you wait for your flight and boarding. Where help points are situated around the airport for trained staff to give you assistance. It also gives details on all the child and baby friendly services it offers, such as baby change facilities.
Plus, it offers help and advice when you return back into the airport, for example, baggage reclaim.
It’s rammed full of pictures, that often help vulnerable youngsters visual their time at the airport, making it less traumatic for them with the ‘unknown’.
