New flights between Gatwick and Tianjin-Chongqing are to take off from 25th June.
The service, by Chinese carrier, Tianjin Airlines, will operate twice a week, so says the airline’s website; as it uses the teaser tagline “London, we’re coming”.
Flying an A330 airline, the service will depart from China each Wednesday and Saturday at 9.05am. The flight will arrive at Gatwick at 8.25pm. Then, the return flight will depart Gatwick at 10.25pm, arriving back in Tianjin at 10.35pm the following day.
The route will boast the UK airport’s long haul routes to important, emerging markets.
