More flights are set to take off from Glasgow Airport next year after Sunways Holidays announced it is to launch flights and package holidays from the region.

Manchester based Sunways Holidays is to offer flights to Girona, Alicante, Gran Canaria, Palma, Lanzarote and Faro, boosting the number of seats available from Glasgow by almost 25,000.

Glasgow to Girona flights will operate twice a week during peak season – flights to all other destinations will operate weekly.
