Delays are to be expected on the M8 in Glasgow as maintenance work on Arkleston Bridge, which runs over the M8 between junction 26 (Hillington) and junction 27 (Arkleston), has reduced the M8 to two lanes in both directions, there will also be a number of overnight closures.

Passengers travelling to Glasgow Airport are being advised to allow extra time for their journey.

The road works, which started last Friday, 17 July 2009, are expected to last eight weeks.
