bmi has issued the following statement concerning the cancellation of some Heathrow flights due to the volcanic ash cloud:

As a result of the movement of volcanic ash cloud over parts of UK airspace the following bmi flights have been cancelled:

BD0123 London Heathrow to Dublin
BD0124 Dublin to London Heathrow
BD0016 London Heathrow to Glasgow
BD0003 Glasgow to London Heathrow

The situation will be closely monitored throughout the day. Customers should continue to check individual flight status for up to date flight information.

Customers whose flights are cancelled should contact bmi’s call centre to rebook, tel 0844 8484 888 (UK) or (01) 4073036 (Ireland). Those with cancelled flights are entitled to a full refund or can rebook within two weeks of original departure date, for travel within four weeks. Normal refund conditions apply.
