Leeds City Council has given the go ahead, in principle, to development plans at Leeds Bradford Airport.

The £28 million proposal will see the building of a new two-storey extension and improvements to the existing terminal building including a new airside departure lounge, the remodelling of the airside immigration facility, the expansion of passenger security screening area, expanded retail and catering areas and the redesign of the domestic baggage reclaim hall.
