Flying Start to 2017 for LJLA

Liverpool John Lennon Airport – LJLA – has got 2017 off to a flying start!

January saw more than 320,000 passengers take to the skies, a rise of 5% compared with the previous year.

This sees the airport report 24 months of continued growth as the airport expands with new airlines – such as Thomson and First Choice, new routes and additional capacity – such as Alicante, Bucharest, Budapest, Cluj, Katowice, Malaga and Pisa, and new operators – such as Transun and Balkan Holidays.

The airport, with its wealth of flights has seen its appeal increase by both leisure and business passengers, as people look to fly from their local airport.
