Liverpool John Lennon Airport is set to gain its first on-site hotel – Hampton by Hilton – following a franchise agreement between Peel Holdings and Hilton Hotels. The 160-bed hotel is due to open in the summer of 2009 and forms part of a £37 million development which will include a multi-storey car park. Hotels guests will have direct access to the terminal building via a new bridge from the development.
