The choice for winter sun destinations out of Liverpool John Lennon Airport is on the increase as this week another airline, Ryanair, launched its LJLA Winter schedule.
The low cost airline has announced a brand new service to Sofia, Bulgaria, which will commence for the Winter schedule, and fly all year round.
The airline has also announced is to add new services to Bergerac, Gran Canaria, Pisa, Porto and Szczecin to its Winter only schedule.
What’s more, increased services will be added to the popular routes of Alicante and Malaga, by popular demand.
These new services will see a 7% increase in Ryanair’s passenger numbers for the airline, spreading across 24 Winter destinations; 93 weekly services in total.
Speaking about the exciting new Winter schedule, Ryanair’s Head of Communications, Robin Kiely said, “We are pleased to launch our Liverpool Winter 2016 schedule, which includes a new route to Sofia, 5 new Winter services to Bergerac, Gran Canaria, Pisa, Porto and Szczecin, and more flights to Alicante and Malaga, making Ryanair the ideal choice for sun and city break getaways. Our 24 Winter routes (and 28 Summer services) will help deliver 1.9 million customers this year and support 1,400 “on-site” jobs at Liverpool Airport.”
