London City Airport is holding a Winter Expo at Broadgate EC2 on Wednesday and Thursday of this week (10 & 11 October).

Taking part in the event will be: Swiss International Air Lines, CityJet for Air France and British Airways.

The Winter Expo will take place across the whole of Broadgate, including The Arena, Exchange Square and Finsbury Avenue Square and offers:

Swiss Snowboarding

Watch and learn from expert snow boarders and skiers as we bring the mountains to the city. The Arena will host an artificial ski slope with snow boarding rails, with sliding and grinding action from the best instructors, including the Warren Smith Ski School.

Air France Ski Blizzard

The Ski Blizzard is the ultimate Ski Simulator consisting of two Alpine Racers that are enclosed within a futuristic dome with high-powered fans blowing artificial snow everywhere. The machines are linked so you can race each other over six different courses, including slalom and downhill.

British Airways Apres Ski

Explore and indulge with the sounds of live jazz at Exchange Square and try your hand at a snowboard simulator.

Event times are: Wednesday 11am – 7pm and Thursday 11am – 11pm
