Mobile phone boarding passes can now be used on Finnair flights from London Heathrow and Manchester.

The mobile check-in facility is offered to Finnair Plus members where the boarding pass is sent via text message to a mobile phone.

How it works:

Before the flight Finnair sends an SMS to Finnair Plus members, with flight information. The customer checks that the information is correct and accepts the check-in by sending a reply message with the letter A. When check-in has been accepted, Finnair sends a confirmation message (always in English).
