Manchester Airport has yet again announced increased passenger numbers, way above increases for airports across the UK.
September passenger numbers were up by 5.2% compared with September last year.
The Fly Manchester campaign, which has been running across the West Midlands, Lancashire, Merseyside and Yorkshire areas has added to the success at the airport.
What’s more, the airport has secured new routes for next year, showing the commitment by both the airport and airlines at growing the Manchester offering.
Air Canada is to launch a direct service to Toronto, five times a week, from next June.
US Airways will launch a direct service to Charlotte, North Carolina.
Monarch Airlines has announced four new routes from next summer to Italy’s Naples, Morocco’s Agadir, Hurghada in Egypt and Enfidha in Tunisia.
Whilst Jet2.com will start flying to Vienna.
