Prestwick Airport is set to host its first Jobs Fair on Saturday, 12 February 2011.

Open between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 in the check-in area of the main terminal building, the fair is open to everyone and will offer information on a wide range of seasonal jobs, including Airport Security, Ground Services, Check In, Car Parking Operatives, PCV Drivers, and Admin Assistant.

The airport’s Sonia Rafferty said: “We need to gear up for a busy spring and summer period here at Glasgow Prestwick. Ryanair has a busy summer schedule, as does Wizz, and we also have a number of charter flights heading off to the sun. So Saturday provides a great opportunity for local people to come and discover how they can join our fantastic team. Bring copies of your CV – it could be the start of a new career in aviation.”
